Probably Stolen – Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim: Run a Shady Space Pawnshop

Are you ready to open shop in Probably Stolen, where nobody asks where the goods come from? Probably Stolen – Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim is the new cyberpunk shopkeeping simulator by Questing Goose Studio, published by tinyBuild. The game launches on October 28, 2026 on PC (Steam). Moreover, you can now find it on IndieGala!
In-Depth
First of all, the setting. You live on a huge dystopian space station, split by wealth and corruption. You’re a former scavenger who opened a shop in the Lower Levels thanks to a generous loan. However, rent keeps rising. Meanwhile, the factions are watching you. Therefore, your best margins hide in the legal gray zones.
Anyone can stand on the other side of your counter. It could be a Security agent fishing for evidence, a revolutionary or a fallen elite. So every sale is a gamble. You can approve, refuse, report or look away. Moreover, someone is always taking notes.
Finally, there’s an even stranger threat. A sentient AI chip went rogue and took control of its hosts. These “Augs” look like everyone else, until they don’t. Every faction agrees on one thing: shoot on sight.

What To Expect from Probably Stolen
✦ Pick your trade: gunsmith, chemist, water merchant, fence, farmer or start from rock bottom.
✦ Read your customers and goods: any deal can hide a Security trap.
✦ Risk and reward: cut quality or sell fakes as genuine, if you dare.
✦ Rising rent: fall behind and your shop loses appeal and customers.
✦ Rogue AI: spot the Augs among your shoppers and pull the trigger at the right time.
Gameplay
The heart of Probably Stolen is the counter. First, you inspect the goods. Then you set a price. Finally, you haggle with the customer. Every product has its own checks. Cigarette packs need a visual inspection. Water must be tested and filtered. Weapons, instead, need permits and modifications.
Moreover, you manage machines and production chains to craft valuable items. With advanced licenses, you then unlock the underground market. Meanwhile, you hide stolen goods, or bribe your way out if you get caught. All of this comes in pixel art, with choices that matter and multiple endings.
As a result, every purchase becomes a calculation. One bad deal or a confiscation can cost you the shop. Your goal? Earn enough to buy out your shop before the rent crushes you.
